Adrift in k and void of culture we’re the playthings of k we call it modernity, revel in the endless distraction of it, elevate the base nature celebrate the irony we revere and enshrine laziness, complain we don’t know what to do with ourselves. We’re handing over our rights, distantly perceive our own thoughts and feelings through a maze of conditioned response, health and harmony seem elusive, another commodity trading dissatisfaction for capital goods while our neighborhoods decay we prop up the parasitism gobble up quick fixes in successive advertising blitzes, deaden ourselves to familiar empty cycles by rationalizing this enforced passivity to be the inevitable, unchangeable and uniformly static nature of existence. No…this is madness and reality can only bear it for so long. We are in the thrashes of a psychotic episode, vomiting up the chemical IV feed, flashing through nightmares collapse to this stark vista more and less terrifying, desolate and sterile than imagined reality. Cycling waves of blue static crackle and cohere, spark into being discovering self and other out here a light a signal focused burns itself into existence, turn on. Turn off the endless product sale, zombie worshipers of the glass box the brainwash, experts debate the fine points, forecast diminishing returns the way has been prepared plain for all to see the psychotic trajectory, austerity arguments and fear mongering.
I am convinced it is impossible for self-conscious human beings to willfully participate in this madness this farce this blood-sucking shit rolls downhill encounters mental barriers limited and unrewarding model.
There may be limits and structures imposed on all we are individually powerless to change but if we all did what we could just one coordinated breath, the awakening of a people and the combined force snaps these bonds in an instant. From cut-off and starving rural communities to plastic prison laboratory suburbs to walled off urban hells from which one views the fortress towers and command posts of capital. We’re dreaming our lives away, window and catalog shopping, content to be 250 million spinning gerbil wheels.
But with a common goal we’ve the ability to clear away this insanity and settle in to the long-term public work of securing fruits of harmony, prosperity and healing for the generations to come. Re-establishing a pact with the earth and with our neighbors and heirs. The time for change is now. We are beyond moral law, ethics and logic.
